About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team at New Era Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering commercial and professional AV systems, including audio, video, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create comprehensive AV system designs, including CAD drawings and detailed specifications.
  • Partner with sales and project managers to assemble materials and labor estimates for proposals and bids.
  • Develop and maintain project management databases to monitor project productivity and accuracy.
  • Provide professional designs and systems engineering support to take projects from inception to completion and client acceptance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in servicing, designing, and engineering commercial and professional AV systems.
  • AVIXA CTS certification required; CTS-D and/or CTS-I preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art integrated audio, video, lighting systems, and digital signage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Work Environment

New Era Technology office and client sites, domestic and international.

Expected Hours of Work

Business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, slightly modified hours may be accommodated.

Travel

This role requires a minimum amount of travel to customer and vendor sites, as well as industry events and vendor training seminars.
