Job Summary:

Smart Synergies seeks a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer SME to join its growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevSecOps, cloud security, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

- Provide expertise in configuring and maintaining DevSecOps tools in a Gov Cloud environment.
- Develop and utilize CI/CD pipelines to promote developer code across environments.
- Configure and maintain DevOps tools, including but not limited to GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
- Implement and support platforms for containerized applications using AWS managed services such as EKS.
- Ensure the stable operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections.
- Analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues.
- Provide end-user training.
- Recommend technology direction to align with business vision.

Requirements:

- Seven years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
- Two years of direct support of DevSecOps environments.
- Experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations, basic understanding of networking setup, experience with Debugging, troubleshooting, log searching, understanding of metrics, monitoring, alarming, and dashboarding concept.
