Mercy Hospital is seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN with a focus on CVOR to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.
Certification Requirements- RNFA certification is mandatory.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
- AHA ACLS certification is necessary for specific units.
- AHA PALS certification is required for certain units.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification is needed for specific units.
- CNOR - Certified Nurse (OR) is preferred for RNFAs.
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy certification is not required for Oncology.
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course certification is required for ER.
- National Certification verification is required for CSFAs and RNFAs.
- State License verification is required.
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, totaling 80 hours per pay period. On-call duties for weekdays, weekends, and holidays will be discussed during the interview.
- Responsibilities: Float to Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled.
- At least 18 months of recent CVOR experience is required.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent CVOR RNFA experience prior to travel.
- Experience with vein harvesting is essential.
- Active RNFA certification is a must.
- Must possess a valid Ohio Active RN License or Compact RN License.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
- Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required for submission.
Work hours are structured as Monday to Friday, totaling 80 hours per pay period, with on-call responsibilities discussed during the interview process.
Unit Specific InformationFlexibility to float to Main OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled is necessary.
Additional Details- Government-issued photo ID is required and must be carried while on assignment.
- OR Tech First Assistants (CSFA) and RNFAs must have a valid Driver's License.
