Job Title: Sports Management Instructor

Kirtland Community College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach an introductory course in Sports Management.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching an online course that provides an overview of the foundational aspects of sport management in the sports, exercise/fitness, and recreation industry.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with students and college personnel
  • Prepare and instruct assigned courses using appropriate learning experiences and materials
  • Support student learning by assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Establish a professional environment conducive to student learning
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
  • Participate in professional activities, including curriculum planning and program evaluation
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Sports Management, Business, or a related field.

Compensation

Compensation is based on the number of contact hours associated with the course. Workers contracted through EDUStaff are eligible for 1 tuition-free class per semester, subject to qualifications.
