About the Mechanic Role

At First Student, we are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Shoreham, NY. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our fleet of vehicles and the students we transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on our fleet of vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair issues with our vehicles, using your diagnostic skills to troubleshoot problems
  • Assist with mobile emergency services as needed
