WIN Waste Innovations is a prominent waste management organization dedicated to providing essential waste solutions to communities and customers, supported by a workforce of 2,100 professionals.

Our commitment lies in safeguarding the environment for future generations while addressing the needs of today.

As a vertically integrated entity, WIN Waste Innovations operates a network of 50 strategically positioned collection, transfer, and disposal facilities.

This includes waste-to-energy plants, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and a fleet of rail cars and collection vehicles.

We manage over 11 million tons of waste each year, transforming 6.7 million tons into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes.

Additionally, we recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastics, paper, and metals from the waste stream.

Our facility is currently in search of a Service Writer.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of parts in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Maintain records related to inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance conducted on all units.
  • Input data into the computerized fleet analysis system (TMW) on a daily basis.
  • Foster relationships with vendors.
  • Prepare purchase orders for management approval.
  • Receive, tag, stock, and distribute parts to mechanics in accordance with corporate and regional policies and local operating procedures.
  • Review purchase orders with accounting to facilitate accurate invoice payments.
  • Generate various productivity and usage reports for management review.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and assign work orders to technicians.

Education Requirements:

  • Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certification along with one year of general office experience or equivalent training.

Tools and Equipment Utilized:

  • Office equipment including, but not limited to, telephone, fax, copier, calculator, and computer.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Company information systems applications such as InfoPro and CFA.
