About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to lead our software development team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the team's progress toward team goals, ensuring the team focuses on iteration goals, and making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate team progress toward team goals, challenging old norms to improve performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
  • Help the team focus on iteration goals in the context of current Program Increment (PI) Objectives, actively addressing blocking issues to keep flow moving.
  • Make and influence decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance at a team level.
  • Decompose features into well-defined user stories and perform software development tasks such as analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
  • Coordinate agile team meetings and support the product owner.
  • Support the team by participating in peer reviews, removing blockers, assisting in design decisions, and clarifying story acceptance criteria.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph required Day 1.
  • Experience in software technical lead roles.
  • Agile software development experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Linux development environments.
  • Usage of ALM tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Bamboo).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, depending on experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
