About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Kids First team at the University of Arkansas System. As a Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to children of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct language and oral motor assessments and treatment based on evidence-based techniques in a naturalistic, developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Evaluate children to determine the presence of articulation, language, voice, fluency, prosody, pragmatics, oral-motor and/or feeding disorders using appropriate diagnostic instruments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress and making modifications as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with families, other therapists, nurses, social workers, and contractors to provide the best quality of care and optimal outcomes for each child.
  • Support the academic mission of the Kids First program, including participation in the training of students and pre-service professionals, education and outreach to stakeholders, families served, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Hold an Arkansas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or be eligible to obtain licenses within 1 month from date of hire.
