**Job Title:** Tank Erection Draftsman

**Job Summary:** MMI Tank is seeking an experienced Tank Erection Draftsman to join our team. As a Tank Erection Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating complete erection and shop drawings of fabricated members with a detailed bill of materials.

In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet customer specifications. You will also be responsible for resolving any questionable areas relating to fabrication and erection capabilities with representatives of different departments.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks, as well as knowledge of structural steel detailing and storage tank standards. A college degree or detailing certification is preferred.

**Responsibilities**

  • Create complete AutoCAD drawings as designed by the engineering team
  • Integrate with Engineering, Fabrication, and Field Personnel to create accurate drawings for distribution
  • Resolve questionable areas relating to fabrication and erection capabilities

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years of experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of structural steel detailing and storage tank standards
  • College degree or detailing certification (preferred)
