We are seeking a skilled EIC Engineer to enhance our operations through the optimization of production processes. This role focuses on the integration of instrumentation and control systems to improve work efficiency, reduce energy consumption, increase throughput, and elevate product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee electrical capital projects ensuring they are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, achieving the desired improvements and returns.
- Site Expertise: Act as the electrical and power systems expert, providing troubleshooting and design review support.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain and update the plant's technical documentation, serving as the primary technical resource for the facility.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate data collection for process performance across various plants.
- Continuous Improvement: Initiate and support projects aimed at enhancing plant operability, product quality, and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Commissioning and Startups: Lead and participate in safety, design, and hazard reviews for new projects, managing the necessary documentation.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify and resolve operational issues, supporting maintenance and production teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in chemical or electrical engineering.
- A minimum of five years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster productive relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plant operations and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with software applications such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and process control systems.
- Understanding of high voltage systems and safety regulations.
