About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jones Street Residential. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our properties and delivering exceptional customer service to our residents.

Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and repairing issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry. You will work closely with our Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, manage work orders, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.

In addition to your technical skills, excellent communication and time management abilities are essential for success in this role. You will be expected to provide friendly and professional service to residents, respond to after-hours emergency calls, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades of property systems and equipment
  • Respond to resident service requests in a timely and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage work orders
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with residents, and promote a positive image of Jones Street Residential
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responses
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in residential or commercial maintenance
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
