Job Overview:


As the Facilities Maintenance Manager at Brickmont of Johns Creek, you will be essential in ensuring the maintenance and functionality of our senior living community.

Your role will encompass overseeing all maintenance operations, repairs, and enhancements to guarantee that our residents enjoy a secure, pleasant, and well-kept living space.

This is a full-time, hourly role based in Cumming, Georgia, reporting directly to the Executive Director.

Compensation & Benefits:
We provide a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26 to $28, with biweekly payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute a preventative maintenance strategy to ensure all systems and equipment operate effectively and safely.
  • Oversee and prioritize maintenance requests from both residents and staff members.
  • Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.
  • Supervise and assist with repair and maintenance activities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
  • Manage and track inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate and oversee work performed by external contractors.
  • Develop and manage a budget for maintenance-related expenses.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, ideally within a senior living or healthcare environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
