Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all cooking appliances, refrigeration, HVAC, and minor building repairs, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and floor tile repairs.
  • Complete work orders as assigned, prioritizing tasks and communicating with the Director of Facilities on any delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain inventory of parts, tools, equipment, and other items, ensuring that all necessary supplies are on hand.
  • Perform duties as prescribed in the Preventive Maintenance System, ensuring that all repairs are made in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Comply with company policies on safety at all times, protecting yourself, fellow workers, and customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesAppliance Repairs
  • Repair all gas and electrical appliances, including grills, toasters, deep fryers, microwaves, proofers, food warmers, mixers, slicers, broilers, stoves, ovens, fryer filters, and interior grease interceptors.
  • Repair all refrigeration fixtures, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and standalone refrigerators.
General Building Maintenance
  • Repair and replace doors, door locks, and hinges.
  • Repair floor tile and walls.
  • Install shelves and perform miscellaneous carpentry work.
  • Make minor repairs to asphalt and cement.
  • Replace circuit breakers, switches, and receptacles.
  • Replace motors and make minor roof leak repairs.
  • Perform minor electrical repairs, including light switches, receptacles, circuit breakers, and wiring.
Plumbing Repairs
  • Repair and replace faucets.
  • Repair urinal and commode flushometers.
  • Repair and replace leaking water supply lines.
  • Replace sink drain lines (above floor).
  • Install or replace hot water tanks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience repairing and servicing commercial food service equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to travel to assigned locations across the state as needed.
  • Will require a drug screen and background check, including a driving record.
