Position Overview

The role of the MIS Technician involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various Information Technology systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Support networking solutions, including network switches and wireless access points.
  • Help maintain on-board IT hardware and communication systems for mine fleet operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of experience in mining, manufacturing, industrial operations, electronics, or related fields.
  • Proven computational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • A+ or Network+ Certification.

Working Conditions

  • Personal protective equipment is mandatory in mining or manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to work in a potentially high-stress environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated pay for this position is $31.00/hour. This figure represents the base salary and does not include potential bonuses or benefits. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
