PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient Assessments: Utilize appropriate assessment and intervention techniques tailored to age-specific needs in all nursing interactions. Evaluate patients' physical and psycho-social conditions, analyze relevant data, and integrate assessment findings into care planning and outcomes. Ensure effective pain management, oversee IV therapy, and administer medications in accordance with established protocols.

Communication: Engage in clear and timely communication with patients, colleagues, and management. Employ culturally sensitive communication skills that are appropriate for the patient's age and condition. Document all interactions comprehensively and concisely.

Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking to achieve desired outcomes and address challenges. Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, seeking assistance when necessary. Utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical decision-making.

Caring Relationships: Foster meaningful relationships that acknowledge the human experience of health and illness. Create a nurturing environment for patients and their families, involving them in care decisions and responding to their needs promptly.

Time Management: Effectively manage your workload and resources. Prioritize care tasks efficiently and adapt to changes in patient conditions and assignments.

Leadership: Demonstrate leadership skills appropriate to your role. Delegate tasks in alignment with the capabilities of team members and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and manage conflicts effectively.

Teaching: Integrate educational components into patient care to promote health and prevent illness. Assess learning barriers and tailor information to meet individual patient and family needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required. Candidates with an Associate Degree in Nursing who are committed to completing their BSN within four years of hire will also be considered.


Salary Range: $34 - $53.81

Pay Grade: N10

Compensation may vary based on overall experience, qualifications, shift, and location.
