The ideal candidate will have active teaching and research interests in social justice issues in linguistics, focusing on areas such as language use, variation, and change, second language acquisition, and multilingualism.

A doctoral degree in German Studies, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will contribute to research, teaching, and community engagement within the German Studies Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in German Studies
  • Conduct research in social justice issues in linguistics
  • Collaborate with faculty within the department
  • Develop and implement curriculum in German Studies

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in German Studies, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
