Position Overview:

As a key member of our healthcare team, the Radiologic Imaging Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients. This position is based at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital and involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

LPH Diagnostic Radiology

Employment Type:
Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule:
Day shifts

Compensation:
$38.70 per hour, commensurate with experience

Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure as required by law.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid prior to start date.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care through advanced imaging techniques.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentor and guide new team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiology to enhance clinical practice.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times during imaging procedures.

Imaging Duties:
- Assess patient history and initiate radiographic imaging as per physician directives.
- Administer contrast media and monitor patient conditions throughout procedures.
- Report any changes in patient status promptly.
- Employ best practices in radiography to ensure high-quality images and equipment functionality.
