We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of related work experience, preferably in a supervisory role, with a strong background in facilities maintenance, repair, and management. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and repaired.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing and coordinating maintenance activities, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and tracking progress;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, maintenance schedules, and employee performance evaluations;
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies;
  • Developing and implementing plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of services;
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination;
  • Providing excellent customer service to guests, employees, and vendors, responding promptly to their needs and concerns;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, repair, and management, preferably in a supervisory role;
  • A strong background in technical, trade, or vocational school degree;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
