Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to provide individualized teaching, training, and support to young adults and adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses in Prince George's County, MD.

This is an independent contract opportunity with competitive compensation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess the ability to motivate staff and work collaboratively with colleagues from other programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide life skills training and services to clients in their home and throughout the community.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks and promote independence.
  • Collaborate with mental health workers to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year experience working in related field.
  • Able to complete and pass background checks.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications required.
  • Clean driving record and valid Driver's License.

Earnings Estimate: $25-$35 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
