Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Home of Hope. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our educational team to design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in our children.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment that encourages active learning and promotes a sense of community among our children and staff.
  • Communication: Foster strong relationships with parents and caregivers through regular updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our educational team to achieve common goals and provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment for our children.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience, with a strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with children, parents, and staff.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the classroom and playground, with occasional lifting and bending.
