Senior Communications Specialist at Enterprise Products

Enterprise Products is a leading provider of midstream energy services in North America. We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to provide local area telecommunications field support.

This role involves working with a variety of communication systems within company facilities, providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-call support. Responsibilities include:

  • Installation and maintenance of 2-way voice radio systems
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of various communication systems
  • Assistance with project-related systems implementation
  • Directing local contractors in installations
  • Training field operations personnel
  • Acting as a liaison between field operations and IT
  • Driving standards in the field
  • Providing 24x7 on-call support
  • Travel up to 10%

Requirements:

  • A high school degree or G.E.D. required
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
  • Experience with 2-way radios preferred
  • Network certification such as CCNA is a plus
  • 7+ years experience in telecommunications systems
  • Proficiency with test equipment and software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to work outdoors
