Job Summary:

The Certified Surgical Technician I-IV is a vital member of the surgical team at JPS Health Network, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other surgical personnel to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure a smooth surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care and preparation for surgery, ensuring the patient's safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective surgical procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families to ensure a positive and respectful experience.
Requirements:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist in Surgery Certified (TS-C) certification.
  • Current JPS-recognized CPR certification.
  • Minimum 1-10 years of relevant experience, depending on level (CST I-IV).
