Substation Designer Position

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing substation layouts, including electrical equipment placement and cable routing.
  • Creating detailed drawings and specifications for substation components, including electrical equipment, conduit, and grounding systems.
  • Collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure that design deliverables meet their requirements.
  • Participating in site visits and performing walkdowns to verify design implementation.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electrical engineering and drafting.
