Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team at Meijer. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and sales performance in the bakery department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
- Drive Sales and Customer Satisfaction: Implement strategies to improve customer service, drive sales, and ensure customer needs are met in a quick and efficient manner.
- Manage Store Appearance and Product Presentation: Maintain store appearance with a focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation, and company standards.
- Manage Multiple Tasks and Priorities: Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and make informed decisions based on financial and statistical information.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and precisely with team members, addressing root cause issues and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Model Meijer's Values: Promote a safe work environment, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and embody Meijer's values in all interactions.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- 2-3 Years of Related Retail Experience: Required.
- One Year of Management Experience: Required.
- Rotational Assignments and Customer Service Experience: Helpful.
- Demonstrated Leadership and Communication Skills: Required.
- Ability to Analyze Financial and Statistical Information: Required.
- Successful Completion of Required Certifications: Required.
