Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to seniors in our skilled care setting. As a RN, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive and compassionate support.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to residents and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
