Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our Audiology team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide clinical and clerical support to our providers and patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to providers and patients, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Work collaboratively with the patient care team to implement the medical plan of care and ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; MA certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency preferred.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
