ISR SME

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our government clients and proposal development team. As an ISR SME, you will play a critical role in reviewing and evaluating existing and planned ISR and environmental systems, processes, and programs across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) to ensure our portfolio is optimized to meet the operational warfighter, acquisition community, and senior policymaker needs.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms supporting various government clients' missions.
• Assist in the management, organization, assessment, and monitoring of ISR collection requirements.
• Integrate requirements across tactical, operational, and strategic levels of operations, including direct support to the planning and operations staff to identify capabilities and limitations of enemy forces and identifying potential enemy vulnerabilities.
• Provide SME support to proposal development with an understanding of multiple ISR platforms and collection methodologies.
• Support the production of Annexes and Appendices to Deliberate and Contingency Plans.
• Develop, recommend, and implement OPSEC and signature management into supported operations.
• Provide liaison and coordination between combatant commands and their components as well as US Govt. Interagency.
• Participate in committees and working groups concerned with developing ISR planning and CONOP development.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and meetings in support of the company and client objectives.

• 15+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 13+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years of relevant experience.
• Four years of experience communicating, directing, organizing, assessing, and monitoring the determination, organization, and prioritization of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets/platforms to include HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, GEOINT, and MASINT collection.
• Two years of experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis.
• Two years of experience directly supporting US Special Operations with intelligence products.
• Experience with collection management and briefing Geographic Combatant Commander's or Component Commander's Intelligence Enterprise, the U.S. Intelligence Community, and the Interagency.
• Proficiency in intelligence community systems and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing alternative sources of non-traditional information for DOD customers.
• Valid US Passport.
• Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret.

• Experience working in industry supporting DOD requirements as a contractor.
• Business development experience, especially as related to Government ISR requirements.
• Experience operating ISR platforms in deployed environments.
• Experience as a Joint Planner.
