About the Role

As a Class B Delivery Driver at US Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. This position requires a high level of integrity, reliability, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Plan and manage your delivery schedule to meet customer needs and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Product Handling: Safely load and unload products from the trailer, using equipment such as two-wheelers, pallet jacks, or by hand.
  • Documentation: Verify accuracy of delivery with customers, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Skills: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift, comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift), and ability to read and communicate in the English language.
