Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Sky Ridge Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Perform simple and complex radionuclide diagnostic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric.
  • Perform all calibrations and quality control on equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provides quality diagnostic results.
  • Responsible for supply/inventory management, quality improvement activities, and the maintenance of a Radioactive Materials License.
Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine training program.
  • Current certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N). Must maintain current registry.
  • Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
  • Must maintain BLS, ACLS recommended.
  • Prefer 3-6 years recent hospital Nuclear Medicine experience including nuclear cardiology.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
