We are seeking a highly qualified Music Instructor to join our part-time faculty team at El Paso Community College Cafe. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in music courses, adhering to approved course syllabi, and promoting student learning and success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging music courses that meet the needs of diverse students
- Use effective teaching methods to reach students of varying educational backgrounds and learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure student mastery of course objectives
- Participate in faculty orientation, professional development, and community engagement activities
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of El Paso Community College Cafe
- Master's degree in Music or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Music
- Experience teaching music courses at the community college level
- Ability to incorporate technology into the classroom and engage students in innovative learning experiences
- This is a part-time faculty position, and faculty are hired on a semester-by-semester basis
