Environmental Geologist

As an Environmental Geologist at Shannon & Wilson, you will play a crucial role in providing environmental and natural resource services to our clients. Your expertise in geologic interpretation, soil classification, and laboratory testing will be essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field investigations, collect geological samples, and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Analyze laboratory data, conduct limited soil index property testing, and report findings.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and staff to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

• M.S. degree in Geology or Engineering Geology, supported by a B.S. degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
• 0-6 years of experience as a Geologist, including soil sampling and testing experience.
• Experience in geologic interpretation using soil and rock samples retrieved from explorations, soil classifications, Puget Sound geology, and glacial geology.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
