Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at PACS Inc. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and develop effective treatment plans
- Treat patients according to physician treatment plans and assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities
- Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
- Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review meetings, and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed
- Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertification documentation, and treatment changes per policy and procedures
- Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services
- Recommend and facilitate the ordering of necessary durable medical equipment for patients
- Report any problems with department equipment and maintain a license in good standing with the state board
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, preferably from a Masters or Doctorate Program
- Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs like Casamba and Point Click Care
- Ability to read technical procedures, policy and procedure manuals, and effectively present information
- Mathematical skills to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
The essential functions of this position require standing and/or walking very frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently, talking and/or hearing very frequently, and exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally.
