Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects across the nation. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in multiple welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications to execute high-quality welding tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Execute welding operations utilizing various methods including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core, ensuring compliance with provided blueprints and specifications.
  • Safely operate and maintain welding machinery, including setup and adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections of welds to verify adherence to quality standards, making modifications when required.
  • Interpret welding symbols, dimensions, and tolerances from technical drawings.
  • Prepare and clean workpieces using hand and power tools, including grinding, cutting, and beveling techniques.
  • Follow established safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors to resolve welding-related challenges.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it within the first week of employment (company-sponsored).
  • Ability to lift weights of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Capability to kneel, crouch, bend, and stand for extended periods exceeding 8 hours.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 1-2 years of welding experience or relevant background in the construction sector.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work during weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in identifying safety hazards on job sites and exercising sound judgment in high-risk situations.
