**Job Summary**
PIH Health is seeking a skilled Monitor Technician/Unit Clerk to provide cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under the direction of licensed or certified staff in areas of training. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic organizational and computer skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under the direction of licensed or certified staff.
- Maintain the flow of patient care by performing duties necessary to support the clinical team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
**Requirements**
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Typing/computer skills.
- Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation.
- Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of course within 6 months.
- 1-2 years hospital/healthcare experience in clerical/office or unit clerking preferred.
