About the Role

Crosswater Dental Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Diagnostic Support: Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history, take and process x-rays, and utilize advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide superior support to dentists during various procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling, record keeping, and manage supply and inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.

Requirements
  • Dental Knowledge: Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Customer Service: Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Certifications: Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dental Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Dental Software: Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
  • Dental Assisting School: Dental assisting school certification.
