Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Footwear Department. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through your eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, and ability to prioritize.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
  • Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
  • Create an inclusive store environment where every customer and teammate feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
