About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Transdev. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Administer Fleet Maintenance: Plan and distribute maintenance work, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Supervise Maintenance Operations: Oversee the daily activities of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with Dispatch and Operations Personnel: Coordinate with dispatch and operations personnel to ensure that vehicles are available for service and that maintenance schedules are met.
  • Review Repair Orders for Accuracy and Completeness: Verify that all repair orders are accurate and complete, ensuring that all necessary work is performed and that vehicles are returned to service in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Fleet Campaign Work and Schedules: Ensure that all fleet campaign work and schedules are accurately documented and up-to-date.
  • Ensure Compliance with State, Federal, and Company Requirements: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Conduct Daily Safety Meetings: Lead daily safety meetings to ensure that all maintenance personnel are aware of potential hazards and are taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents.
  • Perform Hands-on Work Activities: Perform hands-on work activities such as repairs and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Identify and Recommend Actions to Improve Operating Efficiency: Analyze maintenance operations and identify opportunities for improvement, recommending changes to management as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training preferred.
  • Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement: Possess a valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
  • Previous Fleet Maintenance Experience: Have previous experience in fleet maintenance, with at least 3 years of hands-on mechanical supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and management.
  • Computer Literacy: Be computer literate, with experience in operating fleet management information systems and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
