Job Title: Landscape Truck Driver

BrightView Landscape Services is seeking a skilled Landscape Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our landscape maintenance crew, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients by safely operating commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensuring the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Landscape Trucks for the day, including loading gas cans, mowers, and other equipment onto trucks/trailers.
  • Secure all equipment onto trucks/trailers and maintain and correctly use issued personal protective equipment.
  • Safely operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and perform maintenance on industrial, commercial, or public properties.
  • Mow turf using various mowers, edge grass at curbs and walkways, blow leaves and clippings, prune shrubs and trees as needed, and clear debris.
  • Plantings and Flower Installation: prep soil uniformly for flower or groundcover installation, plant material properly, apply mulch appropriately, and water material correctly.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment, including unloading equipment from BrightView trucks/trailers, washing equipment and truck, changing equipment blades and oil, cleaning air filters, and greasing machines.
  • Conduct EDVIR on assigned vehicles and safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Some experience in lawncare helpful.
  • Ability to operate various lawn care machinery, including mowers, edgers, backpack blowers.
  • Ability to operate various vehicles, with or without trailers.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
