Job Title: General Manager

Goldfish Swim School - Spring is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Cypress, TX location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our school by managing staff, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail, and vending departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School standard operating procedures.
  • Manage staff to achieve high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Train and oversee aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction to students.
  • Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff.
  • Direct retail and vending departments to ensure proper product mix and pricing.
  • Train and oversee private party staff to maintain GSS standard operating procedures.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in Links software for bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment through knowledge and experience in GSS pool operations.
  • Initiate and oversee workplace employee activities to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Direct implementation of Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures.
  • Schedule staff and manage payroll.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent desired.
  • Three to five years of management experience required.
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required.
