Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified part-time dental hygiene instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, instructing, and evaluating students in the clinical component of our Dental Hygiene Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical instruction and direction to students in accordance with program objectives.
  • Critique students' clinical performance to ensure clinical competence.
  • Maintain accurate clinical performance records, including clinical assessments and competencies, student conference forms, and attendance records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited dental or dental hygiene school through the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
  • 4-year degree with a minimum of two years of current dental hygiene experience.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure from the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners.
  • Documented background in current educational methodology concepts, including teaching methodology, evaluation, and assessment.
