Job Summary:
The Radiology Tech Technologist PRN will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, adhering to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers by coordinating and prioritizing procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
- Rotate within departments and clinics for proper coverage, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
- Protect patient confidentiality and maintain the highest level of professionalism.
- Demonstrate adherence to the Core values of CHRISTUS Health Care.
- Meet the minimum qualifications of a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience in a hospital preferred.
- Hold current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
