  • This position is responsible for providing individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients. The therapist will create and implement outpatient treatment plans that include assessment, diagnosis, problems/needs identified, and a treatment plan with goals and objectives.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Provide individual, group, family, and marital therapy to patients.

    • Create and implement outpatient treatment plans.

    • Conduct assessments and diagnoses to identify patient needs.

    • Develop treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.

    • Evaluate patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education:

  • A Master's degree in a mental health-related field is required.

  • Licensure:

  • CURRENT LCSW or LPC licensure in the State of Arkansas is required.

  • Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in counseling or psychotherapy with adults and/or adolescents is preferred.

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with adults with substance abuse or chemical dependency issues is required.

  • Skills:

    • Effective communication skills.

    • Ability to work well with the public.

    • Knowledge of standards of practice, crisis intervention, and assessment.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is located in a normal hospital environment.

  • The ability to perform close eye work, hear normal and soft tones, and frequent sitting and walking is required.

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds may be required.
