**Job Description**This role involves diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, interacting professionally with residential clients, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to industry safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential HVAC service and maintenance, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
**Responsibilities****System Diagnostics and Repairs**:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of residential HVAC systems to identify issues.
- Perform necessary repairs and replacements of components, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration.
**Routine Maintenance**:
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to enhance longevity and prevent breakdowns.
- Clean and replace filters, inspect ducts, and lubricate moving parts as part of routine maintenance procedures.
**Customer Interaction**:
- Interact professionally with residential clients, explaining issues, and providing recommendations for optimal system performance.
- Educate customers on proper system usage, maintenance practices, and energy-efficient options.
**Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
- Provide service reports to clients and communicate effectively with the service dispatcher.
**Compliance and Safety**:
- Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations during all service and repair activities.
- Keep abreast of changes in HVAC technology and industry best practices.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Service Technician in a residential service and maintenance operation.
- Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Must have appropriate trade tools.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Competitive salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year.
