Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop electrical systems for a range of projects, including power systems, lighting & control systems, fire alarms, and generators.
  • Technical Calculations and Analysis: Conduct technical calculations and analyses to ensure the viability and compliance of designs.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and specifications for electrical systems.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with other engineering teams and departments to integrate electrical systems into broader project plans.
  • Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license in the field of electrical engineering (a plus).
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, including power systems, lighting systems, lighting controls & fire alarm design.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Revit (primary use).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
