Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled General Manufacturing Manager 2 to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Team located in Linthicum, MD at our BWI facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 15-20 represented employees and processes in a Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direction to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies
- Drive employee efficiency
- Meet product cost and schedule targets
- Manage the area to produce quality products
- Engage employees to achieve their highest potential
- Implement process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule
- Facilitate and lead Work Center Operations (WCO) meetings/projects
- Perform required SAP/MES transactions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; Master's Degree with 6 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; (Note, 12+ years of work experience in a Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Prior experience managing personnel and/or teams
- Demonstrated understanding of material movement throughout the manufacturing process
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

Salary Range: $108,900 - $163,300
