Job Summary

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal condition of our properties, providing exceptional service to our residents, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Make-Ready Repairs: Perform timely and efficient repairs to vacant units to ensure they are ready for occupancy.
  2. On-Call Responsibilities: Respond promptly to on-call paging and provide emergency maintenance services as needed.
  3. Collaboration and Support: Assist the Maintenance Superintendent and other team members with their work, providing a high level of support and cooperation.
  4. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control and utilization of maintenance materials and supplies.
  5. Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the Maintenance Superintendent.
  6. Work Order Management: Perform work orders and assist with maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Grounds Maintenance: Ensure the grounds are free of litter and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  8. Equipment Maintenance: Operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  9. Knowledge and Skills: Possess knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, as well as CFC certification and OSHA knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: CFC certification and OSHA knowledge required; CPO certification preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
