Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cancer Rehabilitation Subspecialist to join our team at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a cancer rehabilitation service line from the University of Rochester's Wilmot Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will have a component of program development, building a cancer rehab consult service, admitting and managing cancer patients into inpatient rehabilitation beds, and establishing a robust outpatient practice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cancer rehabilitation service line
  • Admit and manage cancer patients into inpatient rehabilitation beds
  • Establish a robust outpatient practice
  • Support the education mission by teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Pursue research interests and interface collaboratively with the Wilmot Cancer Institute

Requirements

We are looking for a BC/BE and fellowship-trained physician with a strong background in cancer rehabilitation medicine. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
