Village Tavern Host Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host to provide exceptional guest service at Village Tavern, a popular restaurant in Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet guests warmly and escort them to their seats or provide accurate wait times.
  2. Manage the flow of guests into the dining room and seat patrons at assigned tables.
  3. Answer phone calls and accept reservations, prioritizing them to accommodate customers.
  4. Communicate guest notes and requests to Servers and MODs.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

  • Hourly pay: $12-$18/hour.
