Job Duties
  • Ensure safety and security of premises and personnel through regular patrols and monitoring of surveillance systems.
  • Prevent loss and damage by identifying and reporting irregularities; enforce policies and procedures.
  • Manage crowd control during emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and disasters.
  • Document observations and incidents by completing detailed reports; conduct interviews with witnesses as necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the property.
  • Monitor access points and control entry of individuals and vehicles.
  • Secure all exits, doors, and windows to maintain safety.
  • Oversee surveillance camera operations.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities.
  • Provide assistance to individuals in need.
  • Maintain high levels of mental alertness and attention to detail in all situations.
Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of security protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in radio communication.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in various circumstances.
  • Proficient in writing routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse cultures.
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License.
  • Must be able to secure ASHI Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background investigation.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
