About the Role
Economists at Amazon partner closely with senior management, business stakeholders, scientists and engineers to solve key business problems. We are looking for a highly skilled Economist Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for building econometric models using our world-class data systems, applying approaches from various skillsets, and contributing to the design of automated systems around the company.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a PhD in economics or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant research science experience. Advanced expertise in observational causal inference methods is also required. Strong background in statistics methodology, applications to business problems, and/or big data is essential.

What You'll Get
